Find A Bed

FIND A BED

We are hoping that most of you choose to stay on-site at the Common Ground Center and celebrate with us ALL weekend!  The facility has a variety of housing options, ranging from the more polished “Eco Lodge” to rustic cabins to tent platforms to find-your-own patch of grass.  Most cabins and rooms have multiple beds, so you might have to get organized and share with someone you know (or be adventurous and share with someone you don't!).

Here are more details on the options and pricing (Note: all prices are a flat rate for the entire weekend, regardless of whether you stay 1 night or 2):

To reserve a bed or discuss options please e-mail Carrie (c.a.childs (at) gmail.com) or Bryan (bjonesarchitecture (at) gmail.com)

Eco Lodge:

The Eco Lodge, built in 2011 from wood harvested on-site, is 100% solar powered!  The lodge has 8 comfortable, peaceful, and unique rooms, each with their own bathroom.  The Eco-Lodge is ideal for older guests as well as those with mobility issues. Half of the rooms are accessible at grade level and one room has a fully accessible handicap bathroom.  All guestroom beds are convertible bunk beds, which can be moved together or apart, allowing for ideal sleeping arrangements.

Rustic Cabins:

The Common Ground Center has a variety of beautiful and unique cabins scattered in a maple grove about 100 yards from the dining hall.  The cabins were built by Yestermorrow students from recycled lumber and have some very interesting design features!  The cabins DO NOT have electricity, bathrooms, OR bedding, you will have to bring your own headlamp, sleeping bag, pillows, or other bedding.  The cabins are served by a central bath house that does have electricity, hot water, flush toilets, and indoor and outdoor showers.
